Details about the project

The project contributes to the promotion of cohesion and integration, on the basis of the principles of a participatory inclusive democracy and it aims to obtain the following concrete results:

The local work groups

As a result of a series of local seminars, 5 local work groups have been established in
Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi and Timisoara. These are made up of TCN citizens, institutions and NGOs and designate a local coordination committee, as well as representatives in the national thematic work groups.
The local work groups facilitate the identification of local problems regarding TCN integration, the development of common activities and the involvement of TCN in the public consultation processes at local level.

The national thematic work groups
1. Administrative-judicial
2. Education - culture - youth
3. Social (labour market, health, social protection)
The national thematic groups analyse the problems and proposals identified at local level.
They propose solutions or initiatives to improve the situation. They communicate online and in the framework of direct meetings. The conclusions are transmitted to the relevant central authorities and communicated publicly.

The “Migrant in Romania” Magazine
The magazine is published quarterly in Romanian and reflects different aspects of migration and integration of TCN citizens in Romania. It can be read at www.migrant.ro/revista
